| HP Værktøj A/S is a Danish-owned wholesaler, founded in 1989. Through controlled growth with an emphasis on “good deals for all concerned”, HP Værktøj is currently one of the largest and most innovative players on the Scandinavian non-food market. This position is, to a large extent, also due to HP Værktøj remaining as agile and flexible as it was 20 years ago, despite the company’s continued growth. As well as the fact that we can often perform minor miracles when customers need them most.
| | HP Værktøj has its head office and a central warehouse of approximately 50,000 m² in Børkop near Vejle in Denmark. Customers in Sweden and Finland are looked after by HP Værktøj’s local offices, and in Norway by Osjord AS, which is wholly owned by HP Værktøj. Responsibility for Continental and Eastern Europe lies with the office in Børkop and with agents. HP Værktøj employs a total of around 120 people.
| | In August 2007, HP Værktøj A/S became part of the Danish group Trade Wind A/S, which subsequently also acquired Schou Company A/S in Vamdrup, creating the industry’s largest commercial firm in Scandinavia. Trade Wind is represented by its own office in Hangzhou in China. Its acquisitions of these two wholesalers have helped produce an annual turnover in excess of DKK 1 billion.
